At the end of the day, I put as much stock in astrology as I do in Oprah’s advice—well intentioned, but a tad too general to be truly relevant. Which isn’t to say that I don’t enjoy reading my daily horoscope (or watching Oprah’s show, for that matter); on the contrary, I find analyzing zodiac personalities and future forecasts much fun. Who doesn’t enjoy reading tidbits about herself and wondering whether the fourteenth really will be a day for love?

There are some Gemini characteristics I relate to, like indecisiveness, sociability, and need for variety. In some ways, reading about my sign has helped me understand my own nature better. But after delving into astrology a little more deeply, I’ve found that it claims to predict more than personality traits and relationship compatibility. Not only do planets dictate our demeanors and futures in the astrological world, but they supposedly pinpoint potential health problems as well.

Capricorn
Goats are ruled by Saturn, which oversees the skeleton, teeth, and joints (specifically the knees). They’re ambitious and determined, but those characteristics can also lead to stubbornness, which then brings about fragile bones and weakened, rigid joints. Possible problems include arthritis, knee issues, and osteoporosis.

Aquarius
Uranus is in charge of circulation and nerve impulses among members of this sign. If notoriously frenzied Aquarians don’t take time to breathe and relax, astrologists believe their fast pace could lead to arthritis, heart problems, swollen limbs, varicose veins, asthma, and increased allergic reactions.

Pisces
These ultrasensitive fish are ruled by their daydreams and by Neptune, which controls the lymphatic system and feet. They run the risk of disappointment because they’re so idealistic. If that disappointment becomes overwhelming, it could cause foot problems (corns, bunions, etc.) and a weakened immune system that leaves them vulnerable to a number of diseases.

Aries
Rams are analytical and thoughtful by nature, so it makes sense that their ruling planet, Mars, is involved with the head. They tend to overthink things to the point of headaches, tooth issues, jaw grinding, and even facial blemishes.

Taurus
Venus governs over Taurus and controls the lower jaw, the throat, and insulin production. That leaves bulls prone to throat infections, thyroid conditions, stiff necks, tonsillitis, and ear infections when they’re especially worried or acting stubborn.

Gemini
The twins are ruled by Mercury, which deals with dual body parts (arms, legs, and so on) and the respiratory system. That leaves those of us under this sign with chronic coughs and colds, bronchitis, sore shoulders, and tendonitis—probably as a result of constantly socializing and being on the go.

Cancer
Crabs are tied to the stomach and digestive system, which is why they’re highly intuitive and emotionally charged. When they bury their feelings and don’t let go of anger or pain, the moon’s influence can lead to indigestion, intestinal maladies, and acid-reflux disease.

Leo
The Sun watches over Leos and affects their hearts, circulation, and spine. They’re naturally authoritative and confident, so if anything’s causing them to feel otherwise, it can invite back problems, heart ailments, and lethargy.

Virgo
Virgos are ruled by Mercury as well, but the health focus for this sign is on the digestive tract and intestines. Virgos tend to rush through things and have too much of a one-track mind. Without enough relaxation time to balance their worker-bee tendencies, ulcers, constipation, and food allergies could result.

Libra
Venus has jurisdiction over Libra and controls kidney and bladder functions. Librans thrive on pleasure (both giving and receiving), but too much of one over the other can cause excretory problems.

Scorpio
If naturally intense Scorpios get too jealous or obsessive, or if negativity motivates their actions, Pluto can wreak havoc on their reproductive systems, as well as on their kidneys and bladders. Potential issues include painful and/or irregular menstruation, bladder infections, and diabetes.

Sagittarius
It’s all about the thighs, hips, liver, and sciatic nerve for Sagittarians, thanks to Jupiter’s dominance. Health problems range from spinal disorders and rheumatism to detoxification issues.

Obviously, being a certain sign doesn’t guarantee the development of certain diseases. But according to astrologists, it could make issues in those areas more likely, so being mindful of them can’t hurt. Books like Astrology and Your Health and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Astrology (both of which I consulted for this story) emphasize the connection between health problems and straying too much into your sign’s negative side. Whether that’s true or not, it’s a useful reminder to be good to ourselves, both emotionally and physically. You don’t have to be an astrologist to predict the positive outcome of adopting that attitude.

What can I say about astrology? I have loved it forever as long as I can remember. When my mom came home from her waitress job and I was about 13 years old and she dropped a Chinese astrology book one the table. I have loved it since then. This has been my passion FOREVER. As far as I can remember. I have to tell you. I love astrology with all my heart. I live, breath , eat earth, air, fire, water all day. I just love astrology, the elements, anything having to do with it. I help most of my friends when they need help on love, compatibilities or their personalities. I just love astrology. Its the best.
I have been a fan for quite a long time, and when I heard that there was a school on it I was excited. The sad news is that its far away, Im not going to go to some weird state just to go to school for that, and the other reason is that it doesnt make money. Your basically poor, even though its a talent a side hobby. I still like it of course Ill do it. I have collected over 300 books in my lifetime maybe more. I have read every book in the library about it, and the book store. I will usually go to the bookstore read the book skim through the parts i need and not buy it just put it away. Or you will see me on amazon buying the same book used for 1.00 so I can buy many books for a less price. I am smart like that. I’m like the master of astrology lol. Nerd alert! When I have a house one day, its going to be filled with astrology things. <3

My community has about 32 members now, Yea thats good news. Im really getting fond of it, im going on it more then some places even facebook and Im a big facebook fan I’m always on it. Not much has happened, Im off of work today..thats a good thing. I’m hearing bad things about the place I work at, Im like getting tired of it. I think some of the stuff they do there is totally unfair and they lie to you since they have this 6 month rule.
And that aint fair. I’m happy for some of my work friends joining my social network that was nice of ya.
I made some strawberry cheesecake 2 nights ago its exteremly good. And im pretty much bored right now, I mean I just woke up.. I’ll update this more with news when I figure out what else to talk about. But not only astrology, I have collected 300 books in my time. I sound like an old person talking that way but its the truth. I even like palmistry, but I never understand when they talk about its your left an then its your right hand to do the fortunes on, whatever. I also like tarot cards, I had a good collection of most, i love those dice fortunes when you roll the dice if it hits a certain number then that means a certain thing.. really interesting.
I dont like ouija boards, I had horrible experiences with those.. never again. I like alot of the mystical stuff.. I really want to go to a psychic reading one day as well that would be really sweet.
Ever heard of fortune teller..miracle fish?? those are those fish that say yes or no i think when you ask a question. I dont remember but I have done them once in my life. Haha pretty cool.

What sign is the most touchy-feely?

Im a scorpio and i want to be comfortable with just going up to my friends and hugging them but i cant. but i see everyone else doing it. and then my mother whose a pisces hug and be all lovey-dovey to everyone she meets.

Answer: I would say the most touchy feely sign would be any sign that is a water sign, cancer, pisces and scorpio. They are water signs so they are the signs that are most connected with emotions.

Answer: Most men don’t wanna hear about your feelings to be honest but they will pretend to be interested…Taurus men love sports, they love to eat and they are really spoiled and stubborn as well as sneaky.
